Galuchat Lamps
A rare and extraordinary ensemble of seven antique galuchat (stingray) lamps, each mounted on custom-made brass pedestals. The stingray skins, originating from Indonesia, vary in size and respond organically to their environment: in dry, cool conditions they contract into a conical shape, while in warm, humid settings they expand into a broad, blossoming surface.
The translucent skins, adorned with distinctive thorns, create a singular texture through which light gently filters, casting a warm and cozy glow. Each lamp comes equipped with an integrated LED lamp. A truly exceptional collection that combines natural wonder, tactile beauty, and artisanal craftsmanship.
